Gregory Buck

November 3, 1953 — May 10, 2026

South Milwaukee

Gregory “Buck” Buck passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the age of 72. He was the devoted husband of Ann Buck, with whom he shared 36 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Greg’s greatest pride was his family. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Nikki Rokenbrodt, her husband Kevin, and his beloved grandsons, Hunter and Hayden. He treasured being a grandfather and found immense joy in every moment spent cheering on and supporting his grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sister, Jackie Buck; nieces; nephews; extended family; and many dear friends who will deeply miss him.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Darlene Buck; his beloved daughter, Angela Buck; and his sister, Toni Buck. He now joins them in eternal peace.

Born and raised in New Berlin, Wisconsin, Greg lived a life rooted in family, hard work, and adventure. He dedicated 37 years of service to Badger Boiled Ham before retiring. Never one to slow down, he combined his love of baseball with work as an usher for the Milwaukee Brewers for eight seasons. Although he never got the World Series ring he hoped for, he remained a loyal Brewers fan and treasured every moment at the ballpark.

Known affectionately as “Buck,” Greg had a passion for life and encouraged others to experience all they could. He loved traveling, fishing, and spending peaceful time up north riding tractors and enjoying nature. His enthusiasm for sports extended far beyond watching the games — he loved fantasy football, Super Bowl pools, sports betting, and the camaraderie that came with it all.

Buck was also a true handyman who found happiness in working on projects with his family. Whether fixing something, lending a hand, or simply spending time together, he made ordinary moments special. He will also be remembered for his incredibly positive attitude and the strength, humor, and optimism he carried through life, even during difficult times.

Above all else, the light of Buck’s life was his Sweet Annie, who stood faithfully beside him through every chapter of life. His love for his family was unwavering and evident in everything he did.

A visitation to honor Buck’s life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in South Milwaukee on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at noon. Family, friends, and all whose lives Buck touched are invited to gather in celebration of his life and legacy.

Though Buck has departed from this world, his spirit, humor, and deep love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center in Greg’s honor.
