Simmons, Gertrude "Gert" "Gertie" (nee Armbruster) Born to Eternal Life peacefully on May 6, 2016. Beloved wife of James Simmons Sr. Loving mother of the late James Jr. (Cheryl), Michael (Kathleen) and Daniel (Jennifer). Grandmother of Emily, Amanda and Brian. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation on Thursday, May 12 at Diving Mercy Parish (800 Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee) from 9:30 to 11 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice.
