George Yakich

Born on March 27, 1933 to John and Sarah (Hefty). Born to Eternal Life on February 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte Louise (Betz) married on February 7th, 1953. Cherished father of Robert (Evelyn), Sharon (Wayne), Debbie (Edmund) and Betty (late Rob). Grandfather of 10 grandchildren, great-grandfather of 12 great-grandchildren and great great-grandfather of 1 great great-grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents John and Sarah, wife Charlotte (Betz) and his 4 brothers, Walter (late Mary Alice), Velimar (late Esther), Donald (Margaret) and Paul (late Dolores), grandson Chad and great grandson Chad Jr. Further survived by his brother in law and sister in law Robert and Carol (Betz) Higgins, nieces, nephews and friends. George served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 at Fort Riley in Kansas. He worked and retired from Ladish after 37 years. Visitation at the funeral home on March 3 from 10 am to 12 pm with a service at 12 pm. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park.
