Fredrick Gross

January 20, 1932 — December 18, 2018

Passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the age of 86. Fred was born on January 20, 1932 in Maryville, MO. On August 2, 1958 he married Betty Bennett. They raised 4 children: Steve (Dawn), Greg (Marlene), Joe and Mary. Proud grandpa to Chad, Kyle, Billy and Stevie (Amanda Saumer). Fred retired from Northwest Airline in June 1990; he started his career at North Central Airlines in May 1955. He didn't need to be chatty and most would describe his as quiet. His one of a kind comical remarks, showed his witty sense of humor. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff and volunteers at the Union Grove Veterans Home for the excellent care Fred received, in the last year and a half of his life. Memorial visitation at St Matthews Old Brick Church (9303 S Chicago Rd, Oak Creek) on Saturday January 19 from 9 to 11 AM. Funeral service at 11 AM with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) or your favorite charity.
