Eugene Nowakowski

Born into Eternal Life on November 15, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Ann. Loving father of Michael (Suzanne) Nowakowski, Susan (Steve) Sinderson, Thomas (Midge) Nowakowski and Matthew (Chris) Nowakowski. Proud and much loved grandfather of Stephanie Sinderson, Veronica, Zak and Gene Nowakowski. Dear brother of Frank and Sue Mrnik, the late Harry (Marilyn) Nowakowski, the late Roberta and Earl Reetz and the late Tony Mrnik. Proud uncle of Joe, Teresa, Mary, Bonnie, Barb, Mark, Beth, Scott, Melanie, Dan and Amy. Special great uncle to Jackson, Ella, Lucy, Nick and Melissa. Gene was a proud member of Steamfitters Local 601. During his 62 years as a steamfitter he was a respected superintendent, teacher and mentor to many. Gene loved spending time with his family and sharing his love of nature and gardening with all. He was an avid golfer and had built an extensive model railroad. His beautiful smile and caring ways brought brightness to everyone he met. Visitation at Divine Mercy Parish (800 Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee) on Tuesday, November 20 from 9 to 11 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
