Mierendorf, Elmer H. Of South Milwaukee. Born July 2, 1928 and found peace on February 6, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife, Lois (Nehm). Survived by his daughters Janet and Lori (Dennis Parkinson), 3 grandchildren, Michael, Nick and Elizabeth Parkinson, one brother, Robert (Shirley), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Maple Ridge Heath and Rehabilitation Center and Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice for their loving care. Elmer was a member of St. Luke's UCC Church in South Milwaukee, WI, worked at The Milwaukee Journal for 40 years and served with the Wisconsin Army National Guard 32nd Red Arrow Division for 20 years. Visitation Monday at St. Luke's UCC (2200 18th Ave) from 4 to 6:30 pm with a service to follow. Memorials to St. Luke's UCC Church and South Milwaukee Human Concerns.
