Vretenar, Elizabeth M. (nee Placko) of St. Francis, Born to eternal life August 1, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Milton Vretenar. Loving mother of Craig J. (Judy) Vretenar, and Jill S. (Mark) Doran. Proud grandmother of Ashley Doran, Manuel Huerta, and Christina Huerta. Preceded in death by her siblings; John Placko, Pauline Martins, and Ann Furdek. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service Friday, August 7, 11:00AM at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church. 4850 S. Lake Dr. Cudahy. Visitation on Friday from 9:00AM until time of service at church. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park. Memorials to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Alzheimer's Association, or the Slovak Historical Society appreciated.
