Edward Whalen

Whalen, Edward A. passed away January 2, 2018 at the age of 88 years. He is reunited with his beloved wife of 22 years, Carol (nee Bausch). Further survived by the mother of his children, Mildred. Loving father of Allan and William (Patricia). Proud grandfather of Kristina and Brandon. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph; John; Robert; and Bernice Johnson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Monday, January 8, 2018 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Molthen-Bell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday at the funeral home at 6:00PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Alzheimer's Association in Edward's name are appreciated. Ed loved golfing & playing cards. Poker, Gin, Cribbage, and Sheepshead to name a few. He was proud of winning several Brewery League Golf Championships as well as the 2000 Seniors Golf Championship at Grant Park.
