Hall, Dorothy J. (Haskin)
(nee Dalton) Found peace March 24, 2015 at the age of 88. She is survived by her son Lawrence (Holly) Haskin; daughter Cynthia (Roger) Schaus; and grandchildren Kelly, Patrick (Nicole), Kathleen, Ryan (Andrea), and Brittany. Special aunt to Patricia (John) Zarek. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Preceded in death by her husbands Harold Haskin and Jack Hall, and her children Catherine, Nancy, and Richard Haskin.
Dorothy spent her life caring for others. She and her husband Harold were among the founding members of the United Association for Retarded Children, now known as Life Navigators. Dorothy and Harold generously counseled parents of newborns diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Through the Women's Club of South Milwaukee, Dorothy helped establish Camp Wil-O-Way.
Dorothy was proud of her Irish heritage and had a fun-loving spirit.
Thanks to Dr. David Munoz for his compassionate care for Dorothy and to the staff at the Oak Creek DaVita Dialysis Clinic, Oak Creek Place, and Ruth Hospice for their kindness and special attention.
Memorials appreciated to Life Navigators or Divine Mercy Parish. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 4:00 to 7:00 at the FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial at Divine Mercy Parish (800 Marquette Ave., So. Milwaukee) at 1:00 PM Saturday with visitation at noon.
