Doris Marquerite Schweitzer,
Born September 8, 1927 and passed away August 13, 2025, age 97. Preceded in death by her parents: Clinton and Selma Thompson, husband Earl Schweitzer, siblings: Clinton (Ruth) Thompson, Howard (Florence) Thompson, Ethel (Orin) Dallmann, Richard (Jean) Thomspon, in-laws: James (Lorriane) Schweitzer, Alice Mae (Paul) Gutskowski, Howard (Delores) Schweitzer, Ruth (Anthony) Benkowski.
She is survived by her daughters Susanne (Terry) Webb and Amy (David) Brien, her grandchildren Peter (Julie) Punzel, Sarah (Scott) Anderson and great grandchildren Nick Punzel, Ben Punzel, Elloit Anderson, Ruthie Anderson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was born in the Town of Lake (currently known as Cudahy) and attended high school in South Milwaukee which later became the Junior High School for South Milwaukee. She attended Carrol College for a couple of years. She married Earl Schweitzer May 10, 1947. She worked at Ace World Wide Moving and Storage for over 30 years as a Bookkeeper. They enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending weekends at their cottage up north. After retirement spent their summers up north and their winters in Tucson, Arizona. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, reading but her passion was quilting.
Visitation at Divine Mercy Parish (800 Marquette Ave, South Milw) on August 21 from 9:30 am to 11 AM with Mass at 11 AM
