Donald Kochnowicz

Donald Louis Kochnowicz of Franksville, WI born to eternal life, January 29, 2021 at the age of 67. Don was an avid fisherman, hunter and friend to all. He felt most at home on Lake Noquebay and spent many summers fishing, boating and driving the boat way too fast with a tuber on the back. He had the best tan in town due to his homemade concoction of baby oil and iodine. And he always had a cold beer in his hand while waiting for the fish to bite. He was often seen on the sidelines at football, soccer and baseball games when his kids were growing up. And in his later years spending time with his grandchildren was a treasured activity. Don enjoyed being social around town, had a great sense of humor and was always joking around. His smile was contagious. And his hearty hunters breakfast will truly be missed. Donald is survived by his loving son Christopher (Petra) Kochnowicz; daughter, Mary (Ben) Vezzetti; son Steven Kochnowicz; sister, Susan (Rich) Bolte. He is also survived by his six beloved grandchildren Vincent, Isla, Vivian, Isaac, Nicole and Alyssa. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Kochnowicz; mother, Dolores (Kowalski) Wianecki; step-father, Edward Wianecki; and sister Jane Brantmier. Don will be greatly missed by his family and a celebration of his life will be held at Molthen-Bell & Son Funeral Home at 700 Milwaukee Ave, South Milwaukee, WI, on February 12 from 12-2pm.
