Dolores Yakich

August 7, 1929 — February 6, 2024

Born 08/07/1929 to Vincent and Julia Rittman in Cudahy, WI. Passed away peacefully 02/06/2024. Dolores graduated in 1948 from South Milwaukee High School. She married Paul J. Yakich her high school sweetheart in 1949 and were married for 66 years. They had 3 children Steven, Kathleen and Ronald. Paul passed away 04/11/2015 and Steven (Darlene) passed away 05/30/2015. Survived by: Kathleen(David) and Ronald(LiQin). Dolores worked at Midwest Tanning Co. in South Milwaukee for over 25 years. She liked flower gardening and watching the flowers bloom on the patio and around the yard. She enjoyed watching football games especially the Packers all dressed in her packer's attire as well as her grandkids playing. She liked to go to the casino and play slots and bingo; it was fun to watch her excitement when she won. She loved spending time with family and friends, going out for lunch or just getting together. She was known as Grandma "D" by the grand and great grand kids since they couldn't pronounce her name correctly. Survived by: Grand Children - Sarah (Steve), Michael (Susie), Steve (Katrina), Ryan (Nikki), Andrea (Chris) and Davis. Great Grand Children – Matisen, Mason, Olive, Sebastian, Lucy, Violet, Damien, Collin, Ethan, Caleigh and Joseph. She will be missed, but always in our thoughts and hearts.
