Dolores Sawicki

(nee Champagne) formerly of Cudahy, WI passed away peacefully on March 17, 2022 surrounded by family at the age of 84. Dolores was born on May 20, 1937 in South Milwaukee to the late Frank and Dorothy Champagne. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who lived her life by treating others with kindness, compassion, empathy and goodwill which was shown through in the love that she had for her family, friends and her Christian faith. Her grace was defined by her gentle persona, kind soul and generosity towards all. She loved animals, cooking, baking, crocheting and was an avid reader of a good mystery and crime novel but her true passion fell on the time she was able to spend with family. Beloved mother of Jennifer (Glenn) Balistreire and Michael (Deanna) Sawicki. Cherished grandma of Jessica (Benjamin) Lider, Jamie Balistreire, August and Colin Schmitz. "GiGi" of Raelynn, Elliott and Rose. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dolores was reunited with her late husband Jerome after 26 years apart. Also preceded in death by her brother Francis and sister Marie. A private service will be held in the future.
