Dennis Thompson

Of Cudahy, died at home on October 2, 2016 at the age of 73. He was born in Crookston, MN and loved fishing Lake of the Woods, was a Master cribbage player and a Badger and Packer fan. Dennis was known for his wit. He retired from Bucyrus Erie after 32 years of service. He is survived by; his beloved wife Ann (nee Chowanec) of 51 years, son Daniel (Debbie) and daughters Shelley and Rebecca (David) Colby. Also survived by his grandchildren Rachael, Jessica, Andrew and Benjamin and great-grandson Lincoln. Further survived by his brother Gene (Chris), sister Marilyn (David), other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Loreen and his in-laws John and Mary Chowanec. Memorial visitation on Friday, October 7 at Nativity of the Lord Church (3672 E Plankinton Ave, Cudahy) from 10 am to 12 pm with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12 pm.
