Delphine M Lopez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Delphine M. Lopez, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on Friday, April 24th, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on January 27th, 1934, in the heart of Wisconsin, Delphine graced the world with her presence for nearly a century, enriching the lives of all who knew her.

Del resided in Cudahy, WI, where she nurtured not only her family but also a community with her kindness and warmth. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Walter and Helen Podkomorski, and her devoted husband, Raymond Lopez. Del carried on a legacy of love and devotion, weaving a strong familial bond that remains steadfast through her children: Janet (Gary) Nelson, William (Cindy) Lopez, Judy (Phil) Caruso, and Brian (Julie) Lopez. Her spirit lives on in her grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer (Chad), Nick (Emily), Courtney (Shane), Joey, Lauren (Ben), and Brian Jr., as well as her great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Cooper, Braxton, Isabella, and Alayna. She will be missed by a loving host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Del's life was a tapestry of love, creativity, and vivacity. An avid crafter, she spent countless joyful hours in her craft-filled room creating books and cards, drawing inspiration from her favorite YouTube personality, Gina K. She was affectionately described as a "real diva," with meticulously maintained nails and toes symbolizing her high maintenance yet endearing spirit. Delphine had a culinary gift, famous for her Chicken and Spanish rice, spaghetti and meatballs, and a penchant for Jalapeno peppers. Above all, family was the centerpiece of her life, and her love for her children and grandchildren was unparalleled. Her faithful canine companion, Sugar Bee, also held a special place in her heart and was considered part of the family.
In celebrating Del's life, we honor her legacy of creativity, family devotion, and the indelible joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 23, 2026 at Molthen Bell Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10am – 12 am followed by the funeral service.
