David Robinson, 83, passed away peacefully at home in Cudahy, Wisconsin on April 20th, 2026. In the days leading to his passing, he was surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and his wife, Bonnie, the love of his life for 40 years. Together they worked as a team valuing faith and hard work, and enjoyed countless blessings.
David was born in Canton, Ohio on January 6th, 1943, where he enjoyed an adventurous childhood making lifetime friends. David was a dedicated patriot who enlisted in the Army as a young adult and served for 6 years, including time in the reserves. He continued to carry deep respect for those who served our country. Following his service, he worked at Crane Manufacturing for 12 years, and then enjoyed a fulfilling career at Zenar Corporation where his hard work, brilliance, and legacy remain today. His exemplary dedication and work ethic were evident throughout his life. He retired at age 71.
David was an extremely curious, passionate, and hardworking man who loved to learn and experience new things. He had many varied interests including music, politics, acrobatic flying, building, learning, and archery. David was a gifted storyteller with a wealth of knowledge and humor to share. His favorite person to share good talks and good times with was his brother and best friend, Neal. David was a dedicated and loving father to 7 children and grandfather to 11 children. He ensured his children experienced countless adventures and his grandchildren felt boundless love and affection. He was loved immensely and will be greatly missed.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Clara, son, Ryan, and sister, Cathleen. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Bonnie, six children; Michael (Nicole), Todd (Leslie), Rachel (Mike), Aaron, Paul, and Rebecca (Jake). His siblings; Neal (Suzanne), Christina (Joe), Cynthia (Sherri), Richard (Becky). His 11 grandchildren; Sydney, Caleb, Brynn, Dylan, Elara, Ayla, Brennan, Lucas, Evelyn, Michael, and Emilia.
Vistiation at the funeral home on Monday, April 27 from 4 to 5:30 pm with a service at 5:30 pm. A private burial will take place for immediate family.
Job well done, loyal and faithful servant. Rest among the Saints.
