Cornel Moga

September 23, 1924 — July 10, 2018

Born September 23, 1924 in South Milwaukee, died peacefully in his sleep on July 10, 2018 at his home. He is survived by his daughter Carol (Bill) Durling, grandsons Hugh Schoemann, Jr., and Daniel (Carly) Bauch, great-grandaughter Eleanor Bauch, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Monica (Brophy) Moga, brothers Carl Last, Earl Last, and Aurel Moga. Mr. Moga served in the Army Air Corps during WWII as a crew chief on B-17s in the 3rd Air Force, Squadron M. In recent years, he has made his home on Lake Waubeesee in the town of Waterford. He will be remembered for the good cheer he spread through jokes and songs, and for always leaving us laughing. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, July 14 from 10-11 am with a brief service to follow. Interment at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
