Further survived by her many other relatives and friends. Catherine was a lifelong resident of South Milwaukee until moving to Meadowmere in Oak Creek at the age of 92. She was a lifelong member of Divine Mercy Parish including St. Mary's and St. Adalbert's through the years and was a member of the Holy Rosary Society. She was active at church and school. She was also an avid sports fan especially for the Packers, Badgers, Brewers as well as golf, tennis and ice skating. Catherine enjoyed 25 years vacationing at the family cottage in northern Wisconsin. Family and friends were very important to her. She was very proud and supportive of her husband Joe, their 6 children, 13 grandchildren, and their spouses. Her 17 great-grandchildren – the little ones – were the loves of her life. Catherine did IBM data entry at NESCO for several years before devoting herself to her family. A special thank you to the staff at Meadowmere Assisted Living, Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital, Horizon Hospice, Dr. Erin O'Tool, and Dr. Eddy Co for their attention and care of our mother's needs. Visitation on Thursday, July 15 at Divine Mercy Parish (800 Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee) from 9 to 11 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulcher. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Divine Mercy Parish or the charity of your choice.
