In Loving Memory of Carol Jean Barutt May 8th, 1940 - November 22nd, 2023 With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Carol Jean Barutt, a beloved mother and grandmother, loving sister of Pat and Jim, friend, and cherished member of our family. Carol departed this world on November 22nd at the age of 83. Carol was born on May 8th, 1940. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, faith, and strength. She was the widow of Donald, who preceded her in death 25 years ago, sharing many years of joy and partnership until his passing. She was a devoted mother to her four children: Karen, Eric, Jeff, and Michael. Her nurturing spirit and selfless dedication to her children shaped their lives and instilled in them values that will endure for generations to come. Tragically, just five days after Carol passed, her daughter Karen also bid farewell to this world, underscoring the depth of the family's grief. In addition to her role as a devoted mother, Carol took immense joy in her role as a grandmother. Brandon, Joshua, and Maxwell were the lights of her life, and she reveled in the moments spent with them, creating cherished memories that will forever be etched in their hearts. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of these grandchildren, who will carry forward the values and lessons she imparted. Carol touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Her legacy is one of love and family, a testament to a well-lived life. As we bid goodbye to Carol, we find solace in our shared memories and the love that will endure for generations. A burial service will reunite Carol and Donald on Monday, December 4th, at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 3800 E College Avenue, Cudahy, WI 53110, Building 4. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association in their honor. As we mourn the loss of Carol, let us also celebrate the profound impact she had on our lives and find solace in the knowledge that she is now reunited with her beloved husband and daughter in a place of eternal peace. May her soul rest in eternal tranquility.
