Bernice Johanneck

February 14, 1926 — February 27, 2024

Bernice passed peacefully at the age of 98 on February 27, 2024. Born February 14, 1926, in Red Lake Falls, MN. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Johanneck. Together, they shared a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Also preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew A. Piasecki (Harmeyer). She is survived by 4 children, Barbara (Dennis) Pusich, Shirley (Galen) Anklam, John (Peggy) Johanneck, Dolores (Jim) Piasecki, and the late Jerry Johanneck (Tammy). Further survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her remarkable sense of humor that could brighten even the gloomiest of days. Her laughter was infectious, and her wit could turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. As we remember Bernice, let us not only grieve the loss but celebrate the legacy of laughter and joy she leaves behind. In her memory, may we find opportunities to share a smile, tell a joke, and embrace the lighthearted spirit that defined her extraordinary life. Special thanks to all the caregivers at Ascension and Compassus Hospice Care. Visitation on Friday, March 8 at the funeral home from 10AM to 12 PM with a service 12PM. Entombment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
