Barbara H Scudder

Barbara H. Scudder "Bunny" was born on April 9, 1944 in Elmira, New York to parents Raymond and Helen Nelson. She was born on Easter Sunday and her sisters said since the Easter bunny brought her, she should be called "Bunny". She passed away on July 23, 2026 at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Joanne Lehmann and Nancy Nelson. Loving wife to Robert Scudder and dear mother to Mark (Suzy) Scudder and Patti Weber. Also survived by her brothers James Nelson, Randy Nelson, grandchildren Carly, Jacob, Joly, Michael and Paul and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She graduated from South Milwaukee High School in 1962 and married Robert Scudder on January 24, 1965. Barbara loved to sing, garden, read, do crossword puzzles and sudoku. She was also involved with the South Milwaukee Chapter of Job's Daughters (Honored Queen), South Milwaukee Jaycetts, Cantare Chorale.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 16 from 10 to 11 am with a service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to South Milwaukee Human Concerns appreciated.
