Audrey Jacob

Audrey Ruth (Pasterski) Jacob June 27, 1930 - October 25, 2023, 93 years old. Age 93 of Oak Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Audrey was born June 27, 1930 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude (Weissenberger) Pasterski. Audrey graduated from South Division High School in 1948. On January 8, 1955 she was united in marriage to Robert Edward Jacob at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Milwaukee. They built a home in Caledonia and raised three daughters before moving and relocating to the Milwaukee area. For a short time, our parents opened and ran a tavern with our grandparents called the AudBob. As events in life changed, our parents ended up separating and all three of us girls ended up moving to a home we shared with our mom. She was a great Mom, always looked over us no matter how old we were. Mom enjoyed gambling and made many trips to Las Vegas and stayed at the Golden Nugget and saw many shows, her favorite being the Rat Pack. Several of us also took a bus trip to Ho-Chunk Casino in Baraboo and had the best time with her. This was a win for her to have us girls and grandkids all together. As Audrey aged, our sister Christine and her husband Les moved her into their home and took care of her until her passing. They treated her like a queen, she was so loved. Audrey is survived by her loving family, 3 daughters Christine (Les) Muenzenberger, Suzanne (Curt) Swosinski and Cheryl Jacob. 5 grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Wagner, Johnny (Angela) Landry, Danelle (Ryan) Wudtke, Kaelyn Swosinski and Collin Swosinski. 5 great-grandsons, Damien Wudtke, Devin Wudtke, Parker Davis, Benji Davis and Johnny Landry. She is also survived by nieces, Joann (Terry Donovan), Sandy (Brian) Bundalo, Jackie (Scott) Baldewicz and nephew Danny (Kelly) Ratajski and numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Gertrude Pasterski, sisters Patricia Ratajski, Sharon Pasterski, her maternal and paternal grandparents, a niece Debbie Payette and nephews Vince and Tony Mercurio. A special thank you to Janine Ramirez from Accent Hospice Care for all her help with Audrey. Visitation at Divine Mercy Parish (800 Marqeutte Ave, South Milwaukee) on Friday, November 3 from 9 to 11 AM with Mass at 11 AM. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
