Audrey Gee

Audrey Mae Gee (nee Cassens) went to sleep in heavenly peace on Friday, January 1, 2021. She was born March 3, 1932, the daughter of Lawrence and Marie (Markert) Cassens. Audrey married Donald "Hunsie" Gee on June 11, 1955. Dad predeceased her on their 45th wedding anniversary in 2000. Mom is survived by her children Robert; Lauri (Clark) Green; and Jim (Shari). She is further survived by her five grandchildren: Clark Jr. (Dani) Green and their children Tatum, Tenley, Chance, and Camden; Dallas (Alison) Green and their children Caitlin, Jocelyn, and Austin; Brittany (Robert) Fickling and their children Sean Hunsie, Rhett, Jack Robert and stepson Scott; Shannon Gee; and Morgan Gee. Also survived by her brother Russell (Ruth) and her sister Mary Ann (Carl), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by her sister Gladys and her brother David. Mom enjoyed a rousing game of canasta and had an impressive bowling average back in the day. She devoted countless volunteer hours to St. John's School and the St. John's/Divine Mercy parish office. She was a meticulous keeper of the family home. Mom liked all things Early American, and she designed and constructed miniature rooms that she proudly displayed. Services will be on Friday, January 15, 2021; visitation 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Mass at 11:00. Visitation and Mass will be at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 800 Marquette Avenue, South Milwaukee. Face masks are required; social distancing will be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Audrey's name can be made to South Milwaukee Human Concerns, P.O. Box 314, South Milwaukee, WI, 53172.
