Alphonsus Citro

Citro, Alphonsus Joseph Born to Eternal Life on December 11, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Strodel), his sons Michael, Joseph Sr. and David. Loving father of Peggy (Bill) Mitchell, Paula, Jean (the late Michael) Stemper, Vince, Caroline (Jim) McCourt, Liz (Bryan) Schreck and Phillip (Lynda). Also survived by 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, a niece, daughter-in-law Sharon, other relatives, many friends including his YMCA family. Joe was a veteran of the US Navy and a former employee of the city of South Milwaukee. He was Your Friendly Fuller Brush Manâ. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 4 to 7 pm and on Saturday at Divine Mercy Parish (800 Marquette) from 9 to 10:30 am with Mass to follow. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park. Memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
