Alice Janet Kubacki

Our beloved Alice Kubacki was called home to the Lord on April 6, 2026. She was born on August 19, 1931 in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Stefania and Henry Truszynski. Alice's legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends, unwavering resolve and strength and remarkably sharp mind will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kubacki, eldest daughter, Kim Phillippi, two sisters, Marlene Hjerpe and Rita Searing; and one brother, Richard Truszynski.

She is survived by three daughters, Lynn (Mike) Sellhausen, Gwyn Jessmon (Paul Kurkierewicz), and Dawn (Jurica) Bajic; son-in-law Robert Phillippi, four granchildren Jacob (Alicia) Jessmon, Cody Sellhausen, Ivana Bajic (Carl Hanson) and Mara Bajic; one great-grandson, Connor Jessmon; and two sisters, Lilly McCrary and Lana Melon.

A memorial service celebrating Alice's exceptional life will be held at Divine Mercy Parish in South Milwaukee on May 8 from 10 to 11 AM with Mass at 11 AM. We invite all who knew and loved Alice to join us in honoring her.
