Albert F Metz

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Albert Metz on April 7, 2026. He was born on November 24, 1943. Albert married the love of his life, Carla “Dolly” Johnson, on June 28, 1962.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Dorothy Metz; his sister, Donna (Miller), his brother, Joseph “Joey”; his daughter, Christine “Dede”; and his son, Michael “Mikey.”

He is survived by his loving children: Albert “Bubba", Daniel “Danny,” and Lori (Tom) Grant. He was a proud grandfather to Amanda, Alan, Eric, Alyssa (Derek) Struck, Jacob (Monica), Surrayah (Corey), Daniel “DJ,” Justine, and Aubrey, and a cherished great-grandfather to Alexis, Joel, Hunter, Ashton, Madilyn, Avery, Odin, Ellie, Charlotte, Mason, Miles, and Levi. He is also survived by his sisters, Susan "Susie" (Mike) Bahajak and Mary (Dan) Kohl.

Albert was known for his goofy sense of humor and his love of Westerns. His loving spirit will truly be missed by all.
