Obituary for Roger Theodore Turczynski
Born to life October 16, 1947. Born to eternal life December 28, 2023.
Survived by son Adam, daughter Angela (James), sister Roxanne (Glenn), brother Daryl, niece Melissa, and other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by wife Diane, parents Donald and Roselle (nee Kowalski), and bother Donny.
Roger proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam until his honorable discharge. Afterwards, he held computer related and computer networking positions at Bucyrus-Erie, Johnson Controls, Cooper Power, and Frontier until his retirement. He took part in the Honor Flight to Washington, DC from Milwaukee in 2017.
He enjoyed spending time with other veterans he met through VA Hospital activities like WAMM.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee for the care, compassion, and support shown to Roger and his family in their time of need.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 11th 2024.
