Born to Eternal Life on March 30, 2024 at the age of 79. Born on Janaury 4, 1945 in Algoma, WI. Preceded in death by his parents Alfons and Ruth (Hembal) Herson. Loving husband to Gerlayn (Traxel) Herson. Proud father to Amy (Dean) Moczynski, Kate (Kevin) Tregellas, Lori (Kurt) Ullenberg. Godfather to Timothy Herson and Nicolas McNamara. Beloved grandfather to Mark, Cole, Chloe, Connor, Mya, Kane, Kasey and Cora. Further survived by his brother Dan (Barbara) Herson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mark worked for Allen Bradley for 43 years (1963-2007), developing several patents during his employment. He was a true outdoorsman finding joy in hunting and fishing. He served in the United States Army Reserves reaching the rank of Sergeant E5 from 1965-1971. He was a member of the Corvette Club, Fin and Feather Trapshooters, Lakeridge Boat Club and Wisconsin Bowmen, which he founded and ran. The family wishes to thank the staff at the VA Medical Center (Blue Clinic), Aurora Home Health Care and Cindy Zuniga for their wonderful care. He will be deeply missed.
