Sanchez, Kristine A. (Holmgren)

51, Oak Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday July 14, 2017. Kristine was the daughter of Nils and Cindy Holmgren. She was born on July 23, 1965 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. She was a graduate of Greendale High School and attended Alverno College. She worked most recently as a customer service supervisor at Emerson Climate Technologies.

On April 16, 1994, Kristine married Ray Sanchez. In July of 2011 they moved to Oak Creek. Kristine completed the requisite training in the Stephen series at Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church to serve as a Stephen Minister. She worked with a team to help and care for people in crisis. Kris was a giving person and often comforted others in need.

She is survived by her loving husband Ray, parents Cindy and Nils Holmgren, brother Eric Holmgren, mother in law Maria Sanchez, sister in law Gina Sanchez, Brothers in law Jessie Sanchez, Felix Sanchez, Nick Sanchez and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the chapel of Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church. 8675 S. 13the Street, Oak Creek WI 53154. A celebration of Kristine’s life will be held at 11:00am with Pastor Wendee Nitz officiating. Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Women at OCCUMC.
