Obituary for Kevin Keul

Kevin Michael Keul was born October 1, 1968 in Milwaukee WI to Susan Fitzgerald and Jacob Keul and passed away from natural causes on April 28, 2020. The oldest of 3 children, Kevin was a brother to Christopher Keul (Claudia Krepsky) and Courtney Vermillion (Rob). Kevin attended Juno and Pulaski High School and was active in football. To this day many know him as Lurch. He graduated in 1987.

He worked several jobs over the years including USBank but was proud and excited to be working as an Advanced Medical Support Assistant at the VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Kevin held numerous volunteer positions. He most recently served as a St Francis Police Department Auxillary Officer with pride.

Kevin was the ultimate jokester, bargain hunter and trivia player. He loved Middle Eastern food. He also enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes and spices. He made the BEST salsa!

He enjoyed all sports and was a Packer fan but his favorite was baseball and the Brewers. He was also very patriotic.

Kevin was a friend to everyone he met. Kevin’s goal was to make a difference in someone else’s day every day... however possible. He loved to make people laugh. Many describe him as a gentle giant. He loved dogs. Especially his own dog, Phoebe.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Denise McNeely. Sons, Joshua Omernick (Camille), Charles and Reggie Keul.

Due to the pandemic, a memorial will not be held until we can safely come together.
