Kenneth “Ken” Joseph Osowski left this world peacefully on January 12, 2022 at the beautiful age of 75 years. Ken was born on August 5, 1946 in South Milwaukee, WI to Jennie (Kender) and Stanley Osowski. He was held in love and surrounded by his family as he passed, finally unlocking all the mysteries of eternal life, as he had so many questions.

Further survived by family and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Michael Osowski, and his grandson Luke Setzer.

Ken lived in South Milwaukee all of his life. He graduated from South Milwaukee High School and continued his education at UW-Milwaukee where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in History. He began his 26 year career as a telecommunications analyst where he programmed computers via punch card for Globe Union/Johnson Controls. He transitioned to serving the public as a bus driver for Milwaukee County Transit until retirement. Ken spent countless hours volunteering as the Athletic Director at St. Adalbert’s Elementary School where he and his children attended. He spent many more hours supporting his children in all of their activities as their number one fan.

Ken adored his wife of 50 years with whom he shared an undeniable connection. He dedicated his love and life to his family, prioritizing his cherished children and their families above all else. Ken embraced his strong Polish heritage and was affectionately called “Dziadzia'', meaning Grandpa, by his family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart and he matched their youthful energy with every moment spent together. Ken lived his life fully and authentically. He expressed his passion for life openly and his unconditional love for his family was felt deeply. Ken was a lifelong learner, driven by natural curiosity he loved sharing knowledge with those around him. He could hold a conversation with anyone, anywhere and at any time. He was kind, compassionate, thoughtful and enjoyed life’s humor. Ken enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.

Ken loved his family more than anything, his spirit was bright and will live in the hearts of many. His absence on Earth will be truly missed.

The family will privately celebrate Ken’s life-well-lived. They appreciate the love, support and beautiful stories shared. He will be laid to rest beside his parents at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cudahy, WI. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in honor of Ken to a charity that touches your heart.
