Kenneth J Hermersmann, (AKA Herm) 72, of South Milwaukee, died peacefully on January 14, 2022, while in the company of his wife, at Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore Hospital.
He was born December 14, 1949, at his parent’s home in the Town of Lake, and was the son of the late Arthur and Alice (Raszeja) Hermersmann. Ken attended school in Oak Creek and then worked for Chicago & Northwestern railroad and Bucyrus Erie before working at the Vulcan Materials/Wabash Alloys aluminum foundry in Oak Creek for over 30 years.

He loved to grill, even during snowstorms and extreme cold, and was always cooking enough to feed an army. He was proud of his kids and demanded hard work, but was always there for advice and assistance, especially on cars. He will forever be remembered for his devotion to his family.
Survivors include his wife, Judy (Swenson), of 50 years; two sons, Nicholas and Jason (Pagette); two daughters, Christina and Amanda; five grandchildren, Maggie, Jasmine, Ella, Adriana and Ariana; and one beloved puppy, Ginger Leigh.
