Kathleen Dolores Brandt (nee Kotke)
Born December 23, 1933 and passed peacefully on Sun., Dec. 11, 2022, at the age of 88. Preceded in death by William W. Brandt Jr., her loving husband of 66 years.
Cherished mother of Tammy (Ronald) Drzewiecki, Randy (Christine) and Scott Brandt. Proud grandma of Ashley (Joshua) Bierbach, Whitney (Tyler) Knudtson, Randi (Joshua) Fleischman, Jessica (Danny) Herro, Caitlin (Gilbert) Gonzalez, Christopher (Taylor) Drzewiecki and Brianna Brandt (Kyle Diaz). Great-grandma of Connor, Irelyn, Mason, Taylor, Makayla, Otto, Gabriel, Tanner, June, Pierce, Milo, Santino, Warner, and Walter. She is further survived by brother Rick (Donna) Kotke; sister-in-law and cousin, Bonnie Brandt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Further preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Myrtle Kotke, brothers, Leroy and Roger Kotke, sister, Beverly Wahl and great-grandson, Leo Bierbach.
Kathy worked at Patrick Cudahy and EZ Paintr, retiring in 1990. Family was everything to Kathy. A wonderful cook, she enjoyed feeding her loved ones – no one went hungry at Grandma’s house.
A visitation will be held on Mon., Dec. 19 from 9:30AM until the time of the 11:30AM Funeral Service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 3775 E. Cudahy Ave., Cudahy, WI. Burial will take place immediately following at Forest Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church (see address above) or the Hunger Task Force would be appreciated.
