Obituary for Karen Marie Lesky

Karen M. Lesky, age 75, was surrounded with her daughter’s love when she passed away peacefully in her home on January 9, 2022.

Karen was the first born of four daughters to Francis & Gilbert Lesky. She was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Bay View High School in 1964. At the age of 18 she got married and moved to South Milwaukee where she resided the rest of her life. Four years later she had a daughter of her own.

Karen worked in the office at Ladish for almost 46 years as an accounting clerk before retiring. At a Ladish Christmas party, she met Ron Camps. He also was a longtime Ladish employee, then retired. They had 18 years of companionship together before the Lord called him home.

Karen was a dedicated mother who always put her daughter first. She treasured Tracy and embraced every moment with her. She also enjoyed her role as Nana to Alexis and Nick.

Karen is survived by her only daughter, Tracy (Dziuba) Ryba; her son-in-law, Russell Ryba; Grandchildren, Alexis and Nicholas; sisters Elaine Kohel (Bob), Maureen Lesky, and Sandy Sullivan (Pat). Aunties to Cassandra Reichenbach, Michele Appleyard and Gilbert Lesky.
She also leaves behind her wonderful friend, Sandy Rapant. Other family members and friends will sadly miss her.
