Obituary for Karen M Landry

Loving wife. Proud mother of twins and even Prouder future grandma. Adoring daughter. Sister of sisters. Fun auntie. Dedicated godmother. Dear cousin. Friend to all. Karen was all this and so much more. She died April 23, 2023 surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Karen was the wife of Dean, mother of Katie and Alex (Gina), future grandma of Baby Landry. Daughter of John and Helen Dziobkowski, daughter-in-law of Pat Landry and Gerald (Dena) Landry, sister to Kris (Tom) Gale, sister-in-law of Pam, Linda, Debbie, Dawn and Beth, aunt of Emma, Arianna and Erik, godmother to Alyssa, Rachel and Ken, too many cousins and friends to count.

Karen grew up in South Milwaukee, knowing she wanted to be a nurse since she was 6 months old. She studied at Deaconess School of Nursing and Marquette University and worked at Zablocki VA Medical Center serving our veterans.

She was dedicated to Dean and her kids, loved Kuddles, traveling, riding her bike, listening to jazz, potato chips and spending time with family and friends. Most of all she loved life. There will never be another one like her. Love you.

We will celebrate her life and memory on Saturday, April 29 at St. Rita (Three Holy Woman) Church (1617 N Cass St, Milwaukee) from 10:30 am until the Mass at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tunnels to Towers and Disabled Veterans National Foundation.

Many heartfelt thanks to Dean and also the staff at Froedtert ICU and Nurse Rachael for taking such good care of our beloved Karen. She will always be remembered.
