Obituary for Judith A. Kasmer (Zucchi)

Judith A. Kasmer (Zucchi), 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2023. She was born to Antonio and Mary Zucchi (Balzan) on July 20, 1940. Judy Ann was the youngest of three children. She is survived by her brother, Anthony Zucchi. She was proceeded in death by her sister, Rose (Zucchi) Sperl and brother in law, Joesph Sperl, sister in law’s Barbara Zucchi and Kathleen Zucchi. Further preceded in death by her former spouse, Andrew A. Kasmer Jr, longtime companion, Richard Laduron and her nephew, Micheal Dassow.

Judy is survived by her oldest daughter, Lisa Klenske (Donald Klenske), Son, Andrew Kasmer III (Joyce Kasmer), and youngest daughter, Stacy Peters (Charles Peters); grandchildren, Samantha (Kasmer) Jensen (Alex Jensen), Nicole Kasmer, Keefer Klenske, Marissa Klenske, Justin Peters (Jonah Peters), and great grandchild , Hank Peters. Judy is further survived by Richard and Joyce Kasmer, many nieces, nephews, her best friend, Marlene Keehan and many other friends that she cherished.

Judy grew up in Rockwood, WI, and attended Mishicot High School. She relocated to Chicago, IL, with her former Husband, Andy. They started their family in the city then relocated to a suburb of Chicago, Hanover Park, IL, where they raised their three children. She then relocated to Two Rivers, WI, where she was part owner of the Round Up Saloon in Mishicot, WI. After Judy retired, she moved to Cudahy, WI, to be near her daughter, Stacy.

She loved being around family and friends, enjoyed travel and treasured her time spent in Longboat Key, Florida, throughout the years. Judy was an avid sports lover, especially football, baseball, basketball and college sports. She also enjoyed nature and all animals, especially her dog, Cassie, her family’s dogs, cats and reptiles.
