James Martin Mikula, 62, passed away peacefully at home on January 29,2019.
Jim was born on June 1,1956. Son of late Martin and Lorretta Mikula, he attended St. Paul's Lutheran school in Cudahy and Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee.
He was employed at Lucas-Milhaupt, Inc for 45 years in Cudahy, Wi, from 1974-2019. He was most well known as being "the ring whisperer" and "Jimmy Mac".
He was an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church and school for many years. He coached numerous sports, was on various boards, and active with Bible Study, choir and various other activities.
Cherished most by Jim was his love for family, faith, and friends. He loved fishing, always going after that big musky; loved to golf, and most of all loved hunting, looking for that "30 point buck". But more than anything, he loved spending time with his family. His strong faith in his Savior was shown in everything he did.
He is survived by 2 children, Amanda (Kevin Fischer) of Caledonia, and Katie (Jake) Brennan of Mequon. His sister Janet (Dave) Kroll of Superior. Uncle of Kristin, Kevin (Kayla), Kimberly (Dan), McKenzie, Annika, Teagan, Lleyton, Chael and Monroe. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Martin and Lorretta.
Jim's family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to all the Doctor's and Nurses at St. Luke's Milwaukee and to Chuck and Jenny Fuerstenau, for all the love, care and support they gave Jim throughout his battle with cancer.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and all the lives he touched throughout the years along the way.
A memorial service will be held on February 13th, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Caledonia, Wi. Visitation from 9am to 11am. Service at 11am. Lunch to follow at Trinity.
