Obituary for James J. Kozicki

The road to heaven is paved with good intentions but here on Earth, Jim Kozicki used good concrete. He loved what he did, whether it was designing and executing some grand project or replacing a bit of sidewalk. He gave up his struggle with COPD peacefully early Saturday morning, December 16, 2017 with his brother Glenn at his side.
Jim is survived by his wife Kay, sister Diane (Harold) Schlitz, brother Glenn (Kathy), sons Chris and Joel (Holly), grandsons Derick, Justin and Shane. Further survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
He was a member of Wisconsin Polka Boosters and had served as a Polka Police Officer at Polish Fest. Thanks and Prayers go out to the staff at Froedtert Hospital , Froedtert and Medical College Physicians, St. Luke’s Hospital, Aurora at Home and Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, who touched his life recently.
Visitation at the funeral home Thursday, December 21 from 1 to 3pm with a Funeral Service at 3pm. Private Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park.
