Harry Joseph Wesley
Of South Milwaukee. Born in Milwaukee on July 6, 1926. Passed peacefully in his comforting home surrounded by his family on February 18, 2022 at the age of 95 years. Beloved husband to the love of his life Mary V. Wesley, who preceded him in death 22 years prior. Greatest and most loving father to Joan (Bill) Wight, Mark ( Marilyn) Wesley, Christine Tinnes, Patricia Wesley, Mary Ellen (Jay) Jocham, and William (Jennifer) Wesley. Inspiration, mentor, and faithful attendee to milestones and events for his grandchildren Kevin, Joseph, Patrick, Charles, Michael, Emily, Doolan, William, Mallory, Katharine, Anna, and Mary and one great grandchild, Fletcher. Brother of Catherine Ward, preceded in death by his brothers, Ray, Jim, and Richard. During WWII, Harry enlisted at 18 years of age and served with the US 7th Army, 184th infantry and fought bravely in the Battle of Okinawa obtaining the rank of sergeant. He then assisted the Allied forces in the post-war occupation of Korea before returning home. He never spoke of his military career, but we are all very proud of him. Private services will be held.
