Of Winchester formerly of Oak Creek, WI. Beloved husband of Diane for 60 years. Dear uncle of Jim (Debbie) Jelinek and Julie (Ron) Ertman. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Lorraine Jelinek and brother Thomas (Joyce) Jelinek.

Gene was the winner of the Golden Gloves Event. He was employed as the Production Supervisor for Joseph Schlitz Brewing Co. for 33 years. He served 2 years in the U.S Army during the Korean Conflict. He also served as a member of the American Legion Post 434 and lifetime member of the DAV. Gene loved the Packers and watching all the games during the season.

Visitation will be held on September 15, 2018 from 10AM to 12PM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulcher. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
