Obituary for Gary L Engelbert
Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023 at the age of 81. Dear brother to Wayne (Barbara) Engelbert and Don (Nancy) Engelbert.
Uncle to Dorothy Stern, Kelly Thayer, Nancy (Mike) Totero, David and Doug Engelbert. Great uncle to Josh and Tyler Czarnecki, Jeanne (Steve) Foltz, Scott and Maureen Harlan, Samantha and Stephanie Stern. Further survived by cousins Gene and Sam Benjamin.
Gary worked at Kyle Corporation for nearly 40 years. He loved to golf and was a pocket billiards champion in 1980. He also loved table tennis and any kind of card game. He lived in Ocala, Florida for 10 years before coming back to Wisconsin. While he was in the Air Force in Texas for 4 years he played rhythm guitar in a trio combo to entertain his fellow troops. He also sang in some barber shop quartets in his early twenties.
Memorial visitation will be at the funeral home on April 6 from 1 to 3 PM with a memorial service at 3 PM.
