Passed peacefully on Fri., April 2 2021, at the age of 90. Loving husband of Carol A. (nee Weinstock); they were married for nearly 62 years. Cherished dad of Christopher Thorn, Theresa (Mark) Moen, Kelly (Jeff) Dulka, and Jessica Thorn. Proud grandpa of Angela, Nicholas, Chelsea, Perry, Madeline, Claudia, Vanessa, Natalie, Carly and Christopher. Great-grandpa of Macayla, Logan, Averah, Zak, Madison, Bryce, Pepper, Jhett, Otto, Levi, Penelope, Elliot, George, Isaac, Solomon and Everett.
He is further survived by a brother Richard "Dick" Thorn; nieces, Janis and Marsha; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and three sisters.
Eugene was a Proud 20 year United States Airforce Veteran; serving from 1948 – 1968. After retiring from the Military he worked at Bucyrus, WI Natural Gas and was an Instructor at MATC.
A visitation will be held on Wed., April 14th from 9:30AM until the time of the 11:00AM Mass at Divine Mercy Parish, 800 Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172. Inurnment with full Military Honors will be held privately for family.
