Eugene “Gene” Milewski

Cudahy-passed away peacefully on March 13, 2021 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late LaVerne “Lee” Milewski (nee Ensslin). Loving father of Pam (Clayton) Lynde, the late Penny (Jack) Hensel, Parker (Lynn) Milewski, and Perry (the late Kelly) Mills. Adored grandpa of the late Jack, Jeff (Kristin) Lynde, Chad, Heath, and Troy Hensel, Nathan (Suzanne) Milewski, Kara (Patrick) Schwobe, Brady (Dayna) Mills, and Jori Mills. Fun loving great-grandpa of Clay, Brielle, Henry, Walker, Anderson, Miles, and Sadie. Preceded in death by his sisters Bernice (the late Larry) Kelly and Daniela (the late Joseph) Piwaron and brother Edward (Delores) Milewski. Special uncle of Gary (Mary) Pradarelli and Michael (Jan) Piwaron. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many friends in Wisconsin and Florida.

Gene celebrated his long and loving life with family and friends on August 18, 2019 at Pulaski Inn, Cudahy, Wisconsin. No further memorial services are planned.

Gene proudly served his country in Italy and England during WWII in the United States Army Air Corp. He was one of the founding fathers of the Sheridan Players and with his creative side and carpentry skills became a wood and pumpkin stem carver.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the caring staff of Willowcrest Health Services, Ignite Medical Resort, and Howard Village for their compassionate care of Gene.
