Obituary for Donald Hrycay

Hrycay, Donald passed away on December 23, 2017 at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (nee Gamache). Loving father of Susan (Robin) Braun, Steven (Jill Schwarm) David (Brenda Hendrickson), and Robert (Greg Mitchell). Proud grandfather of Sullivan, Spencer, Sawyer, Rianna, and Vaughn. Further survived by his brother, Paul; sister, Anna (Harold) Steely; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Konstanty; mother, Anna Fitzolowitz; brothers, John & Joseph; and sisters, Catherine Howard & Helen Ashe.

Donald served in the U.S. Navy twice during the Korean War. He graduated from MSOE in 1958 with a degree in Electrical Engineering, School of Power. He was a member of the Sturtevant Village Board. He loved baseball and golf. He was a member of the American Legion and a design engineer with Eaton Corp.

Visitation at Molthen-Bell Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 10:00AM-11:00AM. Funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home at 11:00AM. Interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
